Miniature Portrait of a Girl with ringlets in a red dress holding a flower, circa 1840, New England. Attributed to Clarissa Peters* (Mrs. Moses B. Russell) (1809-1854).  Watercolor on ivory, 2-1/8" x 2-5/8", unsigned, in the original leather case 3-1/4" x 3-5/8". 
Excellent color and condition.
