The "Sea Crest" was built at Rothesay, New Brunswick in 1870. 

Richard B. Spencer was a ship portrait working in the second and third quarters of the 19^th C., who … copied from engravings after other artists, but in their own style.  He is represented at The National Museum in Greenwish, England; Mariner's Museum in Newport News, VA; and Peabody Museum in Salem, MA.  See D.
