Carved wooden figurehead of a Roman Warrior in traditional armor with large plumed and feathered helmet.  Late 18th or early 19th C., Northern European or possibly French.  Evidence of polychrome paint.  Retains remnants of old barnacles.  In "as found" condition, size:  26"H x 19"W.
