Archibald.   William Howard Yorke (1847-1921), Son of William Gay Yorke (1817-1882), famous English ship painter.  Born St. John's, New Brunswick, Yorke appears to have been his father's pupil and was active as a ship portraitist in Liverpool from around 1865.  Represented at The Maritime Museum, Greenwich, England; Mystic Seaport; Peabody Museum; and The Maritime Museum, San Francisco.
