Bracket Clock, Robert Fleetwood, London, 1763-1794

Bracket clocks were first developed around 1660--the same time period as the tall case clock.

Spring-driven with incorporated conical gearing device known as a fusée.  Brass works with applied brass engraved chapter ring, intricate cast brass spandrels, highly engraved back plate, dater, hourly strike with five-bell pull strike system.  Robert Fleetwood was a noted maker of bracket clocks and automated music clocks.
